The Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak are witnesses to early civilization as proven by archeological remains discovered throughout these islands. From the mid to late 1st millennium, the Malay archipelago to a great extent is under the influence of Srivijaya. During the 2nd and 3rd centuries, approximately 30 Malay kingdoms emerged and flourished. By the 15th century, the dynasty founded by Sultan Iskandar formed the Malacca Sultanate. It conquered peninsular Malaysia, southern Thailand, and the eastern cost of Sumatra and Malacca became a very important port in Southeast Asia. In 1786, the British established its first colony and took control of Malacca by 1824 after the Anglo-Dutch Treat of 1824 which divides the Malay Archipelago between Britain and the Netherlands.
Malaysia as a country is a melting pot of many different races and cultures. In Malaysia, you have a Malays, Chinese, Indians and many other ethnic groups and all live a very harmonious setting. People in Malaysia are called Malaysians. The adjective Malaysian refers to the people of Malaysia and can mean Chinese, Indians and Malays. Malays are predominantly Muslim ethnic group that make up the large portion of populations in Malaysia. Malays make over the majority group in the country followed by the Chinese and then the Indians, and then there are the other smaller groups of people like Sikhs too, who are a present in a very small number. Malays are mostly Muslims. Most Ethnic Chinese are a majority Non-Muslim and then the Indian who are Hindus and those who are Muslims too
The cave is one of the most popular Tamil shrines outside India, and is dedicated to Lord Murugan, the God of War. It is a very popular tourist attractions in KL.

Saint Paul’s Church is a historic church building in Malacca City, Malaysia, that was originally built from 1566 to 1590. It is the oldest European building east of India. It is located on the summit of St. Paul’s Hill. Every year, the church will be used for feast day mass on the first Saturday of December in honour of the feast day of St Francis Xavier. The tradition was started by a priest from the church of St francis Xavier Melaka since 1922.
Malacca Straits Mosque is a mosque located on the man-made Malacca Island in Malacca City, Malacca, Malaysia, which was opened on 24 November 2006 by the Supreme Ruler of Malaysia (Yang di-Pertuan Agong) Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail and was constructed with a cost of about MYR10 million. It was built using the mix of Middle Eastern and Malay craftsmanship and looks like a floating structure when the water level is high. Its structure has two intersecting archways lead to the main entrance and stained glass which covers the space in between the arches. The mosque compound has a 30-metre tall minaret that is also used as a lighthouse.
